Marcus is the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) at APEX Swimming. His experience ranged from teaching swimming while he was in Melbourne University, to coaching multiple national record holders, age group record holders and multiple SEA Games and Asian Games medalists.
Most recently, he realised his dream of going to the Olympics by coaching Singapore’s first ever Open Water Olympian, Chantal Liew, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Never to rest on his laurels, his next dream is to redesign Singapore’s swimming landscape with talented individuals at APEX Swimming who are committed to affect change from the learn-to-swim level.
